Help! I don't know what God is doing right now!
So over the past two weeks, I've had the tremendous opportunity to go to El Salvador to drill a clean water well for the poorest of the poor, and then attend a powerful worship conference in England, flying first class.
In the span of a fortnight, I've witnessed outright poverty and astonishing wealth. Joy and stress. Contentment and frustration. Strength and weakness. Survival and indulgence.
The juxtaposition (good word huh!) has affected me and left me reeling in many ways ... but I'm not exactly sure how or why. I'm literally scratching my head wondering why God has chosen to show me two such opposite perspectives of life.
Now, I could go off and try to sort this out, but I decided to seek help and clarity and get others involved in the process. So, if you've got any ideas to insights into what God might be saying, I'd love to hear it. Please comment and get involved in the conversation.
