The fun never ended during the Liquid road trip to the Innovate Conference in Granger Indiana. It was a great trip!

ROAD TRIP - part 1

So a couple of us from Liquid are heading the Innovate Conference at Granger Church in Indiana. We're driving the 11 hours to get there. Here are some pics form the road.

LiquidChurch.com soccer kicks off

So our sponsorship of the LiquidChurch.com junior soccer team started officially on Saturday - and what a great game we had!

All of the girls played so well and we even scored a couple of goals ... but the highlight for me was the way they all had so much fun as they played!

Since the team started, I've been sending emails to the parents outlining my goals for the team:
1. To ensure each girl on the team has as much fun as possible
2. To give them a chance to further develop the skills taught by the Kickz Soccer Team, and
3. To make sure they each learn what it means to be a valued member of a team

The parents seem to have grasped these goals - and the girls certainly have.

Pray for us this season.

Viral sports marketing

So here's a new way for Liquid to promote it's services to the local community.

Better than an impersonal billboard or short radio commercial, these junior soccer shirts get us involved in and supporting the community - and inside each shirt is a kid with a family that is loved by God. 

Step two will be to invite them to Rock God!

So Liquid canceled services on Sunday so we could raise money to bring clean water to Africa at the Rock and Run for Africa. Here's some of what happened during the Rock part of the day!
