About Me

  • Tim Lucas
I serve as Lead Pastor of Liquid Church-- a creative, come-as-you-are church based in NJ with friends all across the world (sup, Australia?). A lady once visited and said, "Never thought I'd enjoy listening to some Big Hair Preacher, but you're different." I took that as a compliment. BHP is all about the stuff I love-- my kids, God, life, our church, media, culture, and my lazy hound Percy.

Loved the first message on Habbakuk. It was fun to visit Morristown again. We chose that campus because it was on the way to the poconos for us as we took our boys to summer camp.

Read a verse this morning that I had to share with you as it relates to Sunday's message. Isaiah 30:20-21 Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, This is the way; walk in it."

God allows us to go through adversity and affliction but as a result we enter into the kind of relationship with him that we can hear his voice directing us and feel the intimacy of the Holy Spirit pointing us in the ways we should go. I'm in. Great job as usual Pastor Tim. You and the gang keep up the good work- it's working.
