Liquid Sports - Flag Football - Dec 17

Come out and help us break in the new flags as we wind down outdoor sports playing football.  Flag's should give slow guys like myself a needed edge.  We are back at Cranford which is closer for most people playing.  People of all levels play.  Hope that we get a solid turnout again.  Brandon brought two friends and we had a competitive and fun game with great weather.

Liquid Sports - Post Thanksgiving Hike!

Hope everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving Holiday.  We plan to hike this Saturday on the 26th if anyone is interested in getting a little exercise.  Here some specific additional directions beyond GPS, Google or Mapquest.  We will be eating somewhere in Millburn after the hike.  Football really was a good time last Saturday.  Everyone was involved.  Here are those directions I mentioned. 

(NOTE: South Mountain Reservation is a large park with many other entry points!)

Glen Avenue entry point is at the intersection of Glen Avenue and Lackawanna Place near downtown Millburn.

The Millburn Library is directly across the street, and the Milburn train station and the Papermill Playhouse are in the immediate area.

We will hike to Washington Rock, a Revolutionary War Historic Site where General Washington had a lookout point over NYC.

The hike to the lookout is about a mile uphill but there is a flat road at the top. We will probably hike a total of 4 to 5 miles.  My number is 917 723-2258.  Thanks.  E

Description: If you enjoy cooking and eating, a few volunteers are needed on  Saturday, October 1st at The Eric Johnson House right here in downtown Morristown.  Time frame is 3:30pm until 6:30pm.  

Volunteers will be making and serving dinner for the residents of Morristown's Eric Johnson House,  We will then join the residents to share the meal together. EJH is a transitional housing and support home in downtown Morristown - just a few blocks from Liquid.  No cooking experience necessary!   If you can help out our local community, please contact Ron Koustas at rkoustas@gmail.com.

Liquid Mid-Summer Frisbee Golf Outing

Hope everyone is having a good summer.  We will play Frisbee Golf at 5:00 on the 6th of August so people can go to the shore during the day or whatever activity they want to do.  It is also cooler.  Bring your own disc or you can get the set of Frisbee Golf disc at Dick Sporting Goods.  Cost is about $25.00.  People of all levels play and we play in groups of 4.  We will eat somewhere after we play.  Directions can be found on Map Quest, Google, or GPS.  My name is Ed and you can reach me at 917-723-2258 if you need help with directions.  Hope you can make it.
