WHAT: If you enjoy cooking and eating, a few volunteers are needed to serve the residents of Morristown's Eric Johnson House (EJH). First, volunteers will prepare dinner (no cooking experience necessary!). Then, volunteers will get to share the meal with the residents.
EJH is a transitional housing and support home for designed for individuals who are homeless due to their HIV status. The facility has the capacity to house ten individuals at a time for a period of up to 24 months as they locate the resources and develop the skills necessary to obtain and maintain permanent housing. Individuals who enter our transitional housing program come primarily from living on the streets, places not meant for human habitation, or in emergency shelters.
